The Automotive Detailer provides automotive detailing services by performing detailing on new, used and customer vehicles, safely and according to quality and time standards. Complies with dealership’s safety and environmental programs and practices.
Pay Plan: Flat Rate (Hourly rate paid based on productivity)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Automotive detailing services may include, but are not limited to clean for delivery, protection packages, fill with gas, wash and vacuum, shampoo, polishing.
- Promotes dealership by presenting professional image, positive attitude, and clean work area.
- Arrive on time daily and ready to work when scheduled
- Completes detail services assignments correctly, to pass quality inspections.
- Able to maintain a high quality of work in a timely manner
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Notifies Recon management if delays are expected, any damages to vehicle
- Fills out inspection sheet for new vehicle delivery
- drives vehicle in and out of wash bay, detailing bay and put in designated area for delivery and able to use a high pressure washer, wet/dry vacuum, power polisher, undercoat gun and other equipment required
- Promotes a productive working relationship with others.
- Provides clear and legible record of service completed for both customer and dealership use.
- Assists Recon Management when necessary
- Assists other detailing technicians when needed.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- High School degree or equivalent preferred
- Other certifications or licenses as required by provincial law
- Driver’s license (Class 5)
- Fluent English required
- Position requires walking distances, bending, getting in and out of vehicles frequently
- Safety shoes
