Join our beautiful and recently renovated Family owned Dental office in beautiful Merrickville. Located at 429 Main St E in the heart of town. We offer an amazing team environment, including the latest technology (digital charting, digital radiographs, digital impressions). Ample appointment times provided to facilitate productive and comfortable workflow. NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS, 4 DAY WEEK !!!!!!
We are currently seeking 1 Registered Dental Hygienist.
- 1 F/T Registered Dental Hygienist 4 days a week.
- Flexibility for P/T or F/T if preferred (2-4 days per week available)
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Care: Perform scaling, root planing, coronal polishing, and apply fluoride or pit and fissure sealants.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients on proper brushing techniques, flossing, nutritional habits, and smoking cessation.
- Diagnostics: Conduct periodontal examinations and capture digital radiographs.
- Compliance & Administration: Maintain patient charts (often using software like Cleardent), track medical history, and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene diploma or degree program.
- Active registration in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
