OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources and as part of the HRIS implementation project team, the
Human Resources (HR) Analyst will support the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system. The
HR Analyst will provide support through each phase ofourHR systems implementation project, by
leveraging their expertise in the administration of the day-to-day operations as it relates to HRIS
administration, recruitment, leaves, pensions, benefits, and compensation.
This role will be responsible for accurate data entry, process review, and documentation, and
supporting testing and training efforts. The HR Analyst will liaise with functional leads and clients to
develop greater expertise in the field and to better understand the workflow processes in a large
organization that balances operational requirements and best practices. The Human Resources
Analyst will have excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, and the ability
to work effectively both as part of a team and with limited direction.
EDUCATION
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline or equivalent
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in Human Resources required, preferably within a
healthcare environment.
- Previous administrative, recruitment, benefit, pension and data entry experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills and experience using MS products (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook), applicant tracking systems (ATS), human resource information systems, and/or benefit and pension administration systems
- Working knowledge of and experience in a unionized setting preferred
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment and eager to learn new skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Results oriented with demonstrated problem solving skills
- Demonstrated customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed and prioritize work with a professional demeanor
- Ability to be flexible in hours worked including some work after hours and on weekends.
