About Us:
GIP-Potzus Paving LTD is a trusted leader in road construction, paving, and maintenance services across Saskatchewan. We are currently looking for road construction personnel for project between Melville and Fort Quapelle SK.
Available Positions:
- Packer Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate packers to compact materials such as gravel and soil to prepare the foundation for new roadways.
- Qualifications: Experience with packers preferred. Ability to work efficiently and ensure proper compaction.
- Tractor Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate tractors to move materials, clear land, and assist with grading and leveling of the work area.
- Qualifications: Experience operating tractors and other heavy machinery is preferred. Must be able to handle physical labor.
- Dozer Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate bulldozers for grading, excavation, and pushing materials.
- Qualifications: Experience with dozers is required. Strong ability to move large quantities of material with precision and efficiency.
- Loader Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate loaders to load, move, and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt.
- Qualifications: Experience with loaders or heavy equipment is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Skid Steer Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate skid steers to clear debris, grade surfaces, and assist with material handling.
- Qualifications: Prior experience with skid steers or similar equipment is preferred.
- 3A Water Truck Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate 3A water trucks to apply water to construction areas to control dust and maintain proper moisture content for compaction.
- Qualifications: Experience operating water trucks and a valid 3A license required.
- Excavator Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate excavators for digging, trenching, and moving material.
- Qualifications: Experience with excavators is required. Ability to perform precise digging and material handling tasks.
- Roller Operators
- Responsibilities: Operate rollers to compact and smooth road surfaces, ensuring the proper thickness and compaction of the asphalt or base materials.
- Qualifications: Experience operating rollers or other heavy compaction equipment is preferred.
General Qualifications for All Positions:
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment in road construction or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to work in physically demanding roles and adverse weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and physical exertion.
- Experience with road construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
