This position is for an independent subcontractor and not an employee role.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to help with Airbnb turnover cleanings in Scarborough (Midland & Lawrence). You’ll be working as an independent subcontractor. Proof of business insurance and police background check required.
Hours: Anytime between 12pm-4pm (mainly: 12:30pm-3pm)
Please note: Mileage and travel expenses are not provided. Compensation is $20/hour for time worked on-site.
What You’ll Do:
Mainly:
- Assist with cleaning and preparing Airbnb property between guest stays
- Making beds (full set: fitted & top sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases)
- Switch laundry loads when ready, start new loads
- Folding sheets and towels
- Reporting any maintenance concerns or damages
Sometimes:
- Dusting, sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping (Lead cleaner will delegate)

Requirements:
- Punctuality (turnover times are structured)
- Able to complete laundry tasks independently, including washing, drying, and folding
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
- Experience with laundry care and folding bedding/towels is an asset
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
