Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction, maintenance, and site preparation tasks to ensure smooth operations across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a safe working environment
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials
- Prepare work areas by setting up equipment and safety barriers
- Transport materials within the work site as needed
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Perform basic manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving supplies under supervision
- Contribute to team efforts to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction or industrial environment is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is advantageous but not mandatory
