Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in residential electrical work and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical installations, upgrades, renovations, and service calls.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Install, maintain, and test electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Complete occasional commercial electrical projects as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification.
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and practices.
- Commercial experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Niagara, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (required)
