Full-Time | Morning Warehouse Associate
Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 4:00 PM
GP Brewing Co is a locally owned and operated beverage manufacturing facility producing high-quality, affordable beer since 2016. We are a production brewery that values consistency, accountability, safety, and a hands-on work environment.
We are currently hiring a Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory movement, material handling, and internal logistics. This role is critical to maintaining organized workflow, accurate inventory, and efficient movement of materials between departments and locations.
Role Overview
Warehouse Associates are responsible for handling, organizing, and managing inventory to ensure efficient storage, movement, and distribution of products and materials. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, reliability, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and operational standards.
The successful candidate will be expected to safely operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment as required to support operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, move, and store inventory and production materials
- Load and unload shipments safely and accurately
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Build, wrap, label, and prepare orders for internal transfer and shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Perform routine warehouse cleaning and organization
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight with internal teams
- Safely operate company vehicles as required
- Communicate inventory, equipment, or workflow issues promptly and accurately
- Work collaboratively while maintaining a respectful, safety-focused workplace
What We’re Looking For
- Warehouse, production, or logistics experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating equipment
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Full-time availability with flexibility as operational demands require
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (required)
- Clean driver’s abstract (required)
- Must be insurable under company insurance policy with a minimum of 3 years driving history (required)
- Strong English comprehension, including the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This role involves repetitive lifting, prolonged standing on concrete, kneeling, bending, and working in both hot and cold environments. Employees may be exposed to loud machinery, wet floors, forklifts, warehouse equipment, and varying outdoor conditions. PPE is required. Full training is provided.
