POSTION SUMMARY:
MasTec Purnell Canada is currently looking for a Class 1 Lowbed/Winch Truck Driver to run Company’s truck with an immediate start date.
Preference will be given to candidates LOCAL to Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years of experience in the following fields:
o Lowbedding excavators, side booms and dozers
o Winching sloops and shacks
o Stringing pipeline line pipe
o Load securement
o Permit requirements/knowledge for over dimension and overweight loads
o Hours of service and logbook entries as per government regulations
o Minor mechanical repairs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Purnell Canada’s 6 Core Value
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license and current clean drivers abstract (5 years) is required
- Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid, CSO)
- Ability to identify and report hazards
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Effective attention to detail with strong degree of accuracy
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules
- Ambitious, pro-active, high-energy, positive attitude and a team player
