You’ll operate spray equipment, handle cabinet assembly, and support the finishing process from start to finish. Duties
- Prepare cabinets for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and assembling components using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate spray booths and coating equipment efficiently, maintaining proper settings for optimal finish quality.
- Apply paint, stain, or lacquer using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and adherence to color specifications.
- Monitor the spray line process, making adjustments as needed to maintain consistent quality and throughput.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning spray equipment and inspecting for mechanical issues.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities in the finishing process.
- Document production activities accurately, including batch numbers, coating types, and quality checks.
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments, especially in cabinetry or woodworking industries.
- Ability to read basic measurements and perform simple math calculations related to coating thickness and material usage.
- Experience with machining or welding is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Valid certification or experience operating cranes or forklifts is advantageous for handling materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
