Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Pharmacy Assistant with experience in PropelRx and Pharmaclik Rx to support our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will assist with medication dispensing, patient care, and pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate and efficient service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare and pharmacy services, particularly those with prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience.
Duties
- Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing using PropelRx and Pharmaclik Rx systems
- Maintain organized pharmacy inventory, including stock management and expiration date checks
- Prepare and package medications according to pharmacy protocols
- Document medication transactions accurately in electronic health records
- Adhere to all safety, health, and confidentiality standards during daily operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and patient record updates
Requirements
- Prior experience with PropelRx and Pharmaclik Rx systems is required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in medication handling
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality
