We're looking for a Partnership Coordinator who enjoys connecting with people, developing meaningful relationships, and finding creative ways to bring organizations together around a shared purpose.

What you'll do
As our Partnership Coordinator, you'll work closely with our Executive Director to grow and steward a diverse network of industry, education, government, and community partners.
You'll:
- Grow and manage a portfolio of more than 70 valued partners.
- Secure sponsorships and industry support that help us achieve annual revenue goals of $240,000+.
- Lead efforts to secure more than $60,000 annually in in-kind donations for the Nova Scotia Skills Competition, and coordinate the collection, distribution, and storage of materials.
- Identify, cultivate, and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with SCNS's mission.
- Create partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, and reports that demonstrate value and impact.
- Coordinate partnership agreements and MOUs and establish Key Performance Indicators while tracking commitments and key deliverables.
- Deliver an exceptional partner experience through ongoing communication, recognition, and stewardship.
- Maintain accurate partnership records and support data-informed decision making.
- Help deliver events and initiatives that inspire youth across Nova Scotia to consider careers in skilled trades and technologies.
About you
You enjoy building authentic relationships and are energized by connecting people with meaningful opportunities.
You'll likely be successful in this role if you have:
- Experience in partnership development, sponsorship, fundraising, business development, sales, account management, or relationship management.
- Strong written communication skills with experience developing proposals, presentations, or reports.
- Confidence representing SCNS and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at meetings, networking opportunities, and industry events.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing.
- A collaborative mindset, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and consistently demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and transparency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
A degree or diploma in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is considered an asset, but we're equally interested in relevant experience and transferable skills.

What to expect
This role includes occasional travel throughout Nova Scotia (and occasional out-of-province travel), along with some evening and weekend work to support events and partnership activities.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
