About Body Harmonics Pilates
In 1998, Body Harmonics Pilates opened its first Pilates studio in Toronto, Canada, to help people make exercise and movement integral to their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Over 28 years later, we continue to hold true to our original promise of serving people from all walks of life, at any age or stage, regardless of experience or ability, helping them unlock their potential for integrated health and wellness, resilience, and vitality through Pilates and the science of movement and exercise.
Today, our two studios offer Pilates classes, private Pilates sessions, wellness clinic services, and Pilates education.
About the Role
We are looking for the newest member of our Client Care and Front Desk Team! This is a people-centered role and is ideal for someone who LOVES getting to know and helping others.
The Front Desk Team is the glue of Body Harmonics Pilates. This role is all about creating an exceptional client experience by fostering a welcoming and supportive environment, while also ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the studio.
No prior Pilates experience is required, but you will be required to take classes to learn more about the benefits of what we offer. This will support your success in the role by helping you connect with people on a deeper level.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Welcome and greet every person as they enter and exit the studio
- Manage all forms of new and existing client communication, including in-person, over the phone, and via email
- Engage clients in friendly conversation in Reception and throughout the studio
- Maintain knowledge about Body Harmonics and our offerings to help prospective clients get started and provide thoughtful recommendations for those seeking guidance
- Attend all team and development meetings
- Demonstrate flexibility to cover for team members outside of regular schedules
- Maintain a tidy and organized Front Desk, Reception, and Boutique space (e.g. replacing printed collateral, posting and removing studio signage, maintaining chair and clothing spacing)
- Maintain a tidy and organized Staff Room and Laundry Room (e.g. putting away dry dishes, unpacking and organizing studio supplies, washing, folding, and putting away laundry)
- Coordinate all aspects of Studio Pilates classes (e.g.registration, rescheduling, printing attendance sheets, sign-ins, attendance tracking, recommendations, feedback, special requests)
- Coordinate all aspects of Studio Private Pilates and Clinic services (e.g. scheduling, rescheduling, coordinating with teachers and clients simultaneously, emergency coverage)
- Work with Mindbody scheduling software to manage all studio and clinic bookings, client accounts, and payments
- Reset the studio at the end of each shift (e.g. vacuuming, Swiffering, refilling spray bottles)

Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ years of customer service and/or administration experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Apple computer skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Hours of Work
Full-time position (30 hours/week to start), commencing August 10, 2026.
Training will begin the week of August 10, 2026.
The shift schedule is typically set in four-month rotations.
- Morning shift: 8:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Afternoon/Evening shift: 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Studio hours are:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:45 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Friday to Saturday: 8:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Additional requirements:
- Must be available to work at both locations: 672 Dupont Street and 1835 Yonge Street
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Must be flexible and willing to cover shifts for team members as needed
Renumeration
Remuneration will start at $22.50/hour, with increases based on performance reviews.
