About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and highly motivated Orthodontic Office Business Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy and growing orthodontic practice. This leadership role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about patient care, team development, operational excellence, and business growth.
The successful candidate will work closely with the orthodontist and team to ensure exceptional patient experiences, efficient office operations, and achievement of practice goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the orthodontic practice.
- Lead, mentor, and support administrative and clinical team members.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, onboarding, and training.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve practice performance.
- Ensure excellent patient service and resolve patient concerns professionally.
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, insurance claims, and financial arrangements.
- Coordinate treatment presentation and support case acceptance initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with privacy, health, and safety regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, payroll coordination, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing efforts to support practice growth and patient retention.
- Help at the Front desk
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in a dental, orthodontic, or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with any kind of dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of orthodontic treatment processes, insurance billing, and patient financing.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently while fostering a positive team culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an orthodontic practice.
- Knowledge of scheduling optimization and practice growth strategies.
- Experience managing multi-location practices is an asset.
