We are currently seeking a full-time Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Whitecourt Branch.
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance, of all Flowmax vehicles, generators, and equipment. Responsibilities will include:
- Repair and maintenance of generators, tanks, pumps, trucks, and all other equipment in the shop, and the field as required
- Maintenance of parts inventory and ordering of parts and materials for the shop
- General repair, maintenance, and service of generators
- Adherence to all company safety and procedural policies
- Assisting in the wash bay and shop as required
The desirable candidate will possess:
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician ticket or be enrolled in a provincial Apprenticeship program is considered an asset
- Mechanically and electrically inclined
- Ability to work in a team environment and promote a positive work environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability and desire to learn
