Sacred Heart School of Halifax is seeking to hire a dynamic individual for our Admissions Team. As the primary point of contact for prospective families, the Admissions Officer serves as the face and voice of Sacred Heart. This role is responsible for converting interest into enrollment by building trusting relationships and guiding families through a seamless, professional, and warm application experience.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Officer supports the day-to-day operations of the enrollment funnel—from initial inquiry to successful onboarding. The ideal candidate is a "people person" who is equally data-driven, capable of articulating the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria and the school’s unique value proposition in a compelling manner.
Responsibilities include:
● Assisting with all aspects of the admission management process including prompt response to inquiries, maintaining admissions records, administering entrance testing, managing the online database, and guiding families throughout the admissions process including uniform sizing and ordering assistance.
● Assisting with student recruitment, retention and re-enrollment.
● Organizing and conducting tours and interviews with prospective families.
● Maintaining confidential information and relationships with key constituents throughout the admissions process including families, school colleagues, homestay families, partners and agents.
● Ensuring ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and accuracy of all constituency data.
● Representing the School at admission-related events, in person and virtually.
● Assisting with the planning and delivery of on-campus programs such as visiting days, information sessions and homestays.

● 1-2 years of admissions experience preferred.

● Meticulous attention to detail.
● Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and the Google Suite of products and have experience using information management and/or admission-based platforms.
● The ability to be flexible and to travel occasionally as required.
● Knowledge of homestay and international student documentation would be beneficial.
● Oral and written fluency in a second language or multiple languages would be an asset.
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
