General Labourer – Machine Shop

Dynamic Machine Corporation is looking to add a General Labourer to our busy machine shop team. While previous experience is an asset, it is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.
As a General Labourer, you will support foremen and skilled tradespeople in their daily tasks. Depending on your skills and experience, you may have opportunities to assist with welding, installations, and machine operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual duties including lifting, bending, and moving materials.
- Operate and care for shop equipment and tools.
- Assist skilled tradespeople as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, shop floor, and machinery.
- Follow company safety policies, report hazards, and work safely at all times.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to follow instructions clearly.
- Comfortable using both manual and powered tools safely.
- Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Shift: Day (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
- Wage: Hourly, based on experience
- Benefits: Available after probation period
