Job Summary
The ReStore Associate performs all general operations and merchandising duties.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Create positive, professional interactions with customers and donors, in person and over the phone
- Assist customers in making purchasing decisions, upsell products to increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and presentation of the store to high standards.
- Ensure products are displayed, cleaned, priced and merchandised effectively for maximum exposure and sales.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Uphold donor experience guidelines with tact and professionalism.
· Comply with policies and procedures to ensure safety, integrity, and ethical standards
Knowledge & Requirements:
· Good physical condition, attention to lifting and safety practices
· Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
· Proven success at maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets
- Ensure products are displayed and merchandised effectively for maximum exposure and sales.
- Demonstrated professionalism and excellence in customer service, able to work independently
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Clean criminal record check, valid drivers license and working vehicle required
· Available to work Monday to Saturday as scheduled
- Forklift operator license
· Proficiency in Microsoft Teams
Working Conditions:
· Standing for long periods, steel toe shoes required
· Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs
· Working with public and volunteers
· Working in extreme weather conditions
