Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/ pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and machinery. This role requires experience using solid wire, alum mig and tig and work in a face pace environment. Must be able to work off of blue prints. If you are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and passionate about building quality products, we want to hear from you.
No rig welders or contactors, must live or around Red Deer
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal/aluminum structures and components according to specifications.
- Pressure pipe fabrication/welding
- Operate welding equipment to join metal parts using various welding techniques
- Rigging and operate cranes for moving heavy materials safely within the workspace.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Skilled in machining processes for precise component fabrication.
- Capable of rigging loads safely for crane operation.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42.5 start (depending on experience)
