Position Overview
The Guest Services Representative plays a key role in delivering a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all visitors at the shopping centre. As a front-line ambassador of the property, this position is responsible for assisting guests with inquiries, providing directions and information, and always ensuring a high standard of customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, and passionate about creating positive guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding stores, services, promotions, and mall amenities.
- Respond to guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
- Offer directions and support to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Assist with lost and found inquiries and maintain proper records.
- Support mall events and promotions by providing information and assistance to guests.
- Monitor guest areas and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the guest services desk or kiosk.
- Coordinate with security, maintenance, and management teams as needed.
- Handle gift card sales and basic transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper cash handling procedures.
- Stay informed on current promotions, retailer updates, and centre events.
- Uphold company standards and contribute to a positive and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems is an asset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
