THE JOB
Are you organized, reliable, and comfortable with physically demanding work We're looking for a Shipper/Receiver to help manage incoming and outgoing shipments in a busy warehouse environment. In this role, you will load and unload shipments, inspect and prepare materials, match products with purchase orders, and maintain an organized and safe work area. You may also operate a forklift once certified and assist with freight scheduling or deliveries using a company vehicle when required. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work efficiently!
WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.;
- Full-time daytime hours;
- Hands-on warehouse and shipping experience;
- Variety of physical and warehouse duties;
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a verified clear criminal record and CSA-approved steel-toed boots. Candidates must be physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting, including lifting up to 80 lbs at shoulder level. Experience with safe lifting techniques and working in a warehouse environment is an asset. Strong organizational, communication, and basic math skills are required, along with the ability to weigh and measure items and accurately check shipments against purchase orders. Candidates must be comfortable working with large and oversized materials, including 16-foot boxes of vinyl siding. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential.
