The program assistant is responsible to support children within the licensed childcare setting. Performs the responsibilities of the position within the legislative and regulatory standards set out in the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act.
Ability to provide a supportive, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere for children in our care.
Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous and professional manner with children, parents, staff and the community partners.
Maintain a positive working relationship with families and provide support as required.
Facilitate creative, age-appropriate learning experiences that foster the children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsible for always maintaining confidentiality.
