Who We Are
Connectify Media is a creative agency focused on content-driven growth. We produce story-driven visual content that helps brands, businesses, and individuals build visibility, trust, and real engagement across digital platforms. We are currently hiring a dedicated creator to manage the digital presence for a major landscaping and construction materials project based in East Gwillimbury.
The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Videographer and Social Media Creator to take full ownership of our project's content ecosystem. Stationed directly at an expansive outdoor landscaping yard, you will be the creative engine driving brand visibility across multiple platforms. You will plan, shoot, edit, and publish content that ranges from rugged outdoor machinery operations to clean e-commerce product photography.
What We Offer
- Advanced AI Training: We actively invest in your professional growth. You will receive hands-on training on how to integrate the latest AI workflows into your creative process, from conceptualizing scripts to visual storyboarding and data analysis.
- Premium Tech Stack: We provide full access to premium, paid AI tools and software subscriptions (such as ChatGPT Plus, Midjourney, Claude, and CapCut Pro) to supercharge your efficiency and maximize your creative output.
- Creative Autonomy: A flat structure where your ideas are heard, tested, and pushed live without bureaucratic red tape.
Core Responsibilities
- Multi-Platform Management: Operate and grow the project’s TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Pinterest accounts through consistent posting and community engagement.
- Trendjacking & Content Remixing: Actively monitor daily social media trends and rapidly execute secondary creations (remixing memes, trending audio, or repurposing existing footage) to keep the brand highly relevant.
- Outdoor Video Production: Capture dynamic, raw footage of landscaping materials, live yard operations, and heavy machinery in an active outdoor environment.
- E-Commerce Photography: Shoot clean, accurate, and high-quality product photos of landscaping materials for the online catalog and website.
- Content Planning & Scripting: Brainstorm concepts, write video scripts, and translate technical landscaping information into engaging consumer-friendly formats like material guides or paver comparisons.
- Post-Production: Independently edit raw footage into polished short-form videos using CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro, optimizing for each platform's algorithm.
Hard Requirements
- Portfolio Submission: A digital portfolio, social media handle, or demo reel showcasing your short-form video work and photography is strictly required. Applications without a portfolio will be automatically rejected.
- Transportation: A valid G-class driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle are mandatory to commute to the East Gwillimbury site and occasional off-site shoots.
- Technical Equipment Mastery: Proven ability to operate modern production gear independently, including mirrorless cameras, smartphones, gimbals, lighting setups, and wireless audio equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Highly skilled in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut.
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and carry camera gear (up to 25 lbs) and navigate uneven terrain in an active outdoor yard.
Soft Skills & Qualifications
- Agile Trend Awareness: A hyper-responsive understanding of current internet culture. You can spot a trend before it peaks and possess the creative agility to remix it into relevant content for our industry within hours, not days.
- AI Curiosity: While we provide the training, a strong baseline interest or prior experience in exploring AI tools for content creation is highly preferred.
- Self-Starter Mentality: You do not wait for step-by-step instructions. You can look at a pile of stones and immediately conceptualize an engaging video angle.
- Graphic Design: Basic proficiency in Canva or Photoshop to design aesthetic video thumbnails and feed layouts.
Working Conditions & Schedule
- Schedule: Standard Monday to Friday hours. Occasional weekend shoots may be required, which will be scheduled upon mutual agreement.
