As a Tire Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both hand and power tools to perform various tire-related services.
Duties
- Install, balance, and repair tires on various types of vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tire maintenance tasks.
- Assist customers with tire selection based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling tires and related equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot tire-related issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the automotive field.
- Certification in tire service or related fields is a plus but not required.
