Job Description: Front Desk Agent
Department: Rooms
Reports to: Front Desk Manager
Pay structure: Hourly
Other compensation: Upselling incentive, level 3 benefits
Overview:
Stationed behind the front desk, the Front Desk Agent attends to all inquiries and requests from both hotel and dining guests as appropriate, providing information, recommendations and directions to ensure a satisfactory response.
Primary tasks:
- Check-ins, check-outs and reservations
- Preparations and follow-up to ensure all guest needs are exceeded or met
- Address service or facility problems with the appropriate departments and work towards a resolution
- Answer the general phone line assisting callers in whatever way necessary
- Works alongside the valet team and housekeeping to ensure all guests have a phenomenal stay at the hotel
Qualifications:
Relevant education and work experience will definitely contribute to your appeal as a candidate. However, demonstrating a natural aptitude for the tasks outlined above in conjunction with values that align with ours are the primary drivers of our hiring decisions.
Must be SMARTSERVE certified.

- Picton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Hotel Front Desk: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
