Job Responsibilities
As a Dispatcher & Tracking Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and dispatching loads, monitoring trucks and trailers throughout the day, and ensuring that all shipments are delivered safely and on time. You will communicate regularly with drivers, customers, and brokers to provide shipment updates, resolve operational issues, and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments. You will also maintain accurate dispatch records, update shipment information in the dispatch system, monitor delays, and work closely with the safety and maintenance departments to ensure efficient fleet operations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in truck dispatching, logistics, or transportation operations minimum 2 to 3 Years. Strong communication skills in English, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Applicants should be comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and dispatch software. Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. trucking operations, Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines will be considered strong assets.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with experience using Samsara GPS tracking, ELD systems, or other fleet management software will be given preference. Experience working with load boards such as DAT and Truckstop, along with strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment, will be highly valued.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
