Responsibilities
Assist in the installation and repair of roofing systems, ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials.
Follow technical instructions to accurately lay out roofing components.
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, metal panels, and other roofing supplies.
Prepare work sites by cleaning debris, organizing materials, and setting up safety equipment.
Support carpentry tasks related to framing or structural adjustments as needed during installation projects.
Requirements
Previous construction experience or handyman skills are highly desirable; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws, and measuring tapes.
Ability to read tapes and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights safely.
Experience with carpentry or general construction tasks is a plus but not required.
A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
