Uniform Works is looking for a full time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Edmonton. Warehouse Associate responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, scanning orders, and other duties as assigned by management. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Receiving & Inventory Management
- Receive inbound shipments; verify quantities and inspect for accuracy or damage
- Enter received goods into the inventory system (NetSuite) accurately and promptly
- Organize and label inventory following established procedures
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits
- Identify and report any discrepancies or inventory concerns
- Any other tasks reasonably assigned by management.
Picking, Packing & Order Fulfillment
- Pick customer and internal orders accurately and efficiently
- Pack orders using correct materials, ensuring product protection and presentation
- Prepare shipments with appropriate documentation, labeling, and packaging
- Meet daily and weekly order fulfillment timelines
- Any other tasks reasonably assigned by management.
Shipping & Logistics
- Coordinate outgoing shipments with carriers (Purolator, FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Load and unload trucks safely
- Maintain shipping logs and ensure proper tracking of outbound orders
- Support transfer shipments between Nova Scotia, Alberta, and other facilities as required
- Any other tasks reasonably assigned by management.
Warehouse Organization & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. Use proper PPE as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment
- Support general housekeeping tasks and workspace organization initiatives
- Any other tasks reasonably assigned by management.
Customer Service & Internal Support
- Assist front office, customer service, and sales staff with product look-ups and order questions
- Actively seek to develop process improvements
- Support special projects, department requests, and operational improvements
- Demonstrate a reliable, team-oriented approach with a commitment to quality
- Any other tasks reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous working experience as a warehouse laborer
- Criminal Record Check
- Knowledge of warehousing practices and methods an asset
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- High school Diploma
Salary will be based on experience.
