Canada Custom Autoworks is looking for an experienced Red Seal Automotive Service Technician who is also a 4x4, truck and automotive enthusiast.
We aren't looking for someone who just wants another mechanic job.
We're looking for the technician who loves lifted trucks, custom suspension, wheels and tires, off-road builds and aftermarket upgrades — someone who takes pride in seeing a customer's vision come together.

At $45–$50/hour, your base earnings at 40 hours per week are approximately $93,600–$104,000 per year, before any additional overtime.
What You'll Be Working On
This isn't just oil changes and brake jobs.
Our shop specializes in aftermarket wheels and tires, custom suspension and vehicle upgrades, including:
- Lift kits and levelling kits
- Lowering kits and suspension upgrades
- Shocks, struts and coilovers
- Steering and suspension components
- Wheels and tires
- 4x4 and off-road accessories
- Bolt-on aftermarket accessories
- Custom truck and SUV builds
- General mechanical repairs related to our builds and installations
- Diagnosing and correcting suspension, steering and drivability issues
You'll get to work on vehicles that customers are genuinely excited about.
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal technician is someone who is both a professional mechanic and an automotive enthusiast.
You may already own a lifted truck, Jeep, 4x4 or project vehicle. You probably know the difference between a levelling kit and a suspension lift without having to Google it.
More importantly, you care about doing the job properly.
You should have:
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
- Strong suspension, steering and mechanical knowledge
- Experience working with trucks, SUVs and 4x4 vehicles
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Your own basic professional automotive tools
- Valid driver's licence
Aftermarket, 4x4 or custom suspension experience is a major asset, but we're also interested in strong Red Seal technicians who want to move into the custom/aftermarket side of the industry.
