NOW HIRING: Warehouse Associate & Backup Delivery Driver
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate & Backup Delivery Driver to join our Hamilton team.
This is primarily a warehouse position, with the successful candidate also providing backup coverage for delivery drivers when required, including mid-day delivery runs.
Position Details
- Location: Hamilton, ON
- Position: Warehouse Associate & Backup Delivery Driver
- Pay Rate: $23/hour
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Regular Warehouse Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Driver Coverage Hours: Approximately 5:00–5:30 AM – 1:00–1:30 PM when required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving a heavy Class truck
- Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated
- Good driving record
- Ability to safely handle warehouse duties and materials
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Ability to switch between warehouse and driving responsibilities when required
Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, organize, and prepare products for shipment
- Load and unload materials
- Pick, pack, and stage orders
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Backup Delivery Driver Duties:
- Cover delivery driver shifts when needed
- Complete mid-day delivery runs when required
- Safely operate a heavy delivery truck
- Load and unload deliveries
- Ensure products are delivered safely and on time
- Complete required delivery and vehicle documentation
