Half Moon Drive In Ltd. is a Diner restaurant located in Lockport, Manitoba.The Halfmoon Drive In has been serving up great food and good times for over 88 years and we are looking for a energetic and motivated Manager who enjoys working with others in a fast paced environment.
We’re looking for a motivated individual to provide food preparation skills in our restaurant. You will be responsible for preparing food that meets our high standards of quality and excellent taste. As a Manager, you will be providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the food industry. You should have effective time management skills, since you will have to cook and prepare meals with limited supervision. In addition to general cooking duties, you can expect to perform tasks like washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment, among others. You will also be responsible for working with other staff members as well as Managers and a General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various cooking tasks according to standard operating procedures and in accordance with health, safety and sanitation guidelines (e.g. meat and vegetable preparation, frying, boiling and roasting).
- Serve meals to customers at a timely manner.
- Follow instructions to ensure food is prepared correctly and efficiently.
- Clean kitchen equipment, floors and dining tables.
- Inventory food stocks and replenish when necessary (e.g. bread, cutlery etc.).
- Manage and train all staff as well as run kitchen operations.
- Report to Management on all day to day operations of back of house.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
