Join our team as a Long Haul Driver based in BC, ONT, or QC . In this role, you will be instrumental in transporting high-value and sensitive machinery across long distances, ensuring safety and precision aligned with our company's standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handle oversized and overweight shipments with care, ensuring secure loading and unloading.
- Utilize heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading operations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of travel activities, cargo details, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage during transit.
- Assist in the training of new drivers on company procedures and safety standards.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Clean Criminal Background Record
- Must be able to cross USA/Canada Border
- Proven experience in freight transportation, especially with oversized or heavy machinery.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.
- Knowledge of automotive repair for basic troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to long-haul trucking.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
- Physical fitness to handle demanding loading/unloading tasks.
- Prior experience in aerospace or specialized logistics is a plus.
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
