As we grow, we’re looking for a Registered Nurse/Advance Care Paramedic who shares our passion for excellence to join our dynamic team.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic on a full-time basis. This unique position involves providing on-site medical care and support to employees as well as ensuring a safe and healthy working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in an industrial setting.
Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical attention for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct regular health assessments and wellness screenings.
- Administer first aid, CPR, and emergency care as needed.
- Promote and support wellness programs aimed at improving overall employee health.
- Collaborate with management and HR on employee health-related issues.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and provide health-related insights and recommendations.
- Administrative duties as assigned.
What You Bring
To be successful in the role:
- Valid CPR certification.
- Registered Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic certification.
- Experience in occupational health or an industrial setting is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of OH&S regulations and workplace safety standards is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound medical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
