Location: Boucherville, QC
Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Alternative Schedule Available: Tuesday to Saturday
Pay: $42.00–$48.00/hour (based on experience)

As a Licensed Diesel Truck Technician, you will diagnose, repair, overhaul, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role requires an experienced technician who can work independently while delivering high-quality repairs and preventive maintenance to keep fleets operating safely and efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, driveline components, and fuel systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, steering, suspension, brake, hydraulic, and air brake systems.
- Perform engine overhauls and major component replacements.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs.
- Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings, steering components, and suspension systems.
- Complete repair orders accurately, including warranty documentation.
- Use diagnostic software and specialized shop equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Valid Red Seal or Provincial Heavy-Duty Truck Technician certification (310T or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on engines, transmissions, differentials, and electrical systems.
- Experience using diagnostic software, welding equipment, and shop tools.
- Valid Class 3 or Class D driver's licence with Air Brake Endorsement, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
- Basic computer skills for completing repair documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or customer support as required.
- Ability to work in a shop environment with varying temperatures.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) when required.
- Comfortable working with heavy equipment and using power tools safely.
- Competitive hourly wage of $42–$48/hour.
