About the Role
Pledge Transport is looking for an experienced Freight Agent to join our growing team. This is a remote opportunity for someone who already has industry experience and their own book of business.
The ideal candidate will have existing shipper/customer relationships and be able to bring freight opportunities to Pledge while using our support, carrier network, dispatch team, tracking team, and operational structure to service customers properly.
This role is best suited for someone who wants more earning potential, flexibility, and the ability to grow their customer base with the backing of an established transportation company.
Responsibilities
Build and manage your own customer accounts.
Bring existing shipper or customer relationships.
Source freight opportunities across Canada and the U.S.
Work with Pledge’s dispatch and operations team to cover loads.
Communicate with customers regarding quotes, updates, and service requirements.
Maintain strong customer relationships and grow account volume.
Provide accurate shipment details and support smooth load execution.
Help develop long-term business with new and existing customers.
Requirements
Must have your own book of business.
Previous freight brokerage, logistics, dispatch, or transportation sales experience required.
Strong understanding of full truckload, LTL, cross-border, and general freight operations.
Ability to quote freight and communicate professionally with customers.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently from home.
Must be comfortable working on a commission-based structure.

Pay: $35,791.21-$122,069.87 per year
