Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool visitors. The ideal candidate will be attentive, quick-thinking, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively monitor aquatic environments, enforce safety rules, and provide assistance when needed. This role is vital in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Supervise swimmers to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or incidents
- Perform water rescues when necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to all pool guests
Requirements:
- Strong swimmer with the ability to perform rescues in deep water
- Current Lifeguard certification including CPR and First Aid
- National lifeguard certificate
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability for heavy lifting when needed
