Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our Irrigation install and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, and landscape upkeep. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for various outdoor environments. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within the landscaping industry, requiring mechanical knowledge and construction experience to perform essential duties effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems across residential and commercial properties
- Operate trenching equipment and vibratory plows.
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify issues or leaks
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or replace system parts
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems related to irrigation equipment and landscape features
- Assist with construction projects involving landscape modifications or new installations
- Maintain detailed records of system repairs, installations, and maintenance activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
Skills
- Experience with trenching equipment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including installation and troubleshooting
- Background in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively
- Construction experience beneficial for site preparation and system installation projects
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscape equipment and irrigation components
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including digging, lifting, and operating machinery over extended periods
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction and landscape work is essential

Pay: $19.18-$34.49 per hour
