Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Days and Time hiring for:
Mondays: 9-6pm
Tuesdays-9-7pm
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
- Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Sterilize dental instruments and ensure the cleanliness of treatment areas in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
- Experience working in a dental office setting; familiarity with Logitech Paradigm is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, medical terminology, and infection control standards.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus (cantonese and/or mandarin preferred)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable to ensure smooth integration into our practice’s workflow.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
