Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Supervisor to support our fastfood & baking team in delivering exceptional food service. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on serving, food preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The Assistant will work closely with our staff to facilitate smooth kitchen operations and enhance the overall customer experience. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; a strong interest in food handling and meal preparation is essential. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic food service environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Support the serving staff by helping with daily setups, kitchen prep, cleanup, refills, and customer requests
- Aid in meal preparation activities, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas in compliance with health regulations
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for guests
- Support the team during busy service hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals and excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques preferred
- Experience working in the food industry or with food safety regulations is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and supporting team members
