Evolution Counselling Services is a private counselling practice serving clients in Ontario. We are seeking a registered mental health professional to join our practice as an independent contractor.
This position is primarily virtual.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
- Be authorized to provide psychotherapy in Ontario.
- Carry professional liability insurance.
- Have experience providing individual counselling or psychotherapy.
- Be able to maintain appropriate clinical documentation and professional standards.
- Be available for some evening appointments.
Experience working with children or adolescents and couples is an asset.
Responsibilities
The therapist will:
- Provide individual psychotherapy to assigned clients.
- Complete clinical assessments and treatment planning.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Provide virtual appointments in accordance with professional standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
- Manage their assigned client schedule.
- Participate in consultation when appropriate.
Schedule
This is a part-time independent contractor position.
Hours are flexible and will depend on client referrals and therapist availability. Some evening and weekend availability is preferred.
Location
The position is primarily remote, providing virtual psychotherapy to clients located in Ontario.
Compensation
Compensation is $80–$100 per billable clinical hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and the services provided.
This is an independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, professional registration, insurance, and other expenses associated with independent practice.
