Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual for the position of Part Time Cook. This role involves shopping and preparation of food on Thursday or Friday for light lunch to be served on Saturday late morning/early afternoon. for Saturday mornings. The ideal candidate will reliable and self motivated to prepare and to serve a light lunch for attendees at a religious service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain hygiene standards at all times
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work part-time hours
Pay: $25.00 per hour
