The caregiver will provide care for a child with complex medical needs, including epilepsy, developmental delays, hypotonia, and G-tube feeding. The caregiver must be comfortable monitoring for seizures, administering medications as instructed, following emergency protocols, and supporting the child's daily therapeutic and developmental activities.
Duties:
- Provide attentive care for a child with special medical needs, including epilepsy.
- Monitor for seizure activity and follow prescribed seizure management and emergency procedures.
- Assist with G-tube feeding and medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support developmental, physical, and sensory activities recommended by therapists.
- Maintain a safe environment and closely monitor the child's health and well-being.
- Accompany the child to medical and therapy appointments as required.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the child.
Pay: $19.10-$22.00 per hour
