MUST HAVE Certification of Qualification for Ontario Industrial Electrician

1. Troubleshoots a wide variety of electrical and electronic problems and makes necessary repairs.
2. Replaces damaged parts in various pieces of electrical equipment.
3. Designs and constructs new devices, installs and tests following installation.
4. Performs new installations either alone or working with others (eg. Millwright).
5. Replaces electrical motors as required.
6. Troubleshoots and uses Allen Bradley PLC’s, Toshiba PLC.
7. Maintains an awareness of current electrical codes and safety procedures.
8. Lights metal pots or tiger torches as directed by Supervisor/Management.
9. Follows good housekeeping practices at all times to insure work areas and Maintenance Dept. are maintained in a organized manner.
Follows company safety procedures and complies with all related legislation.
