Our client is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join their team in Scarborough.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for maintenance requests, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Procure and manage maintenance-related spare parts, consumables, and services.
- Oversee spare parts inventory to minimize shortages and discrepancies.
- Generate monthly reports on inventory valuation, cycle counts, and adjustments.
- Coordinate with departments to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks in a 24/7 production environment.
- Prepare labor estimates and confirm resource and part availability before scheduling work orders.
- Develop short- and long-term maintenance plans, including detailed job packages.
- Ensure thorough follow-up and completion of all maintenance jobs.
- Create and analyze KPI reports to track performance and identify trends.
- Maintain documentation related to food safety, health and safety, security, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications:
- Completion of professional training or relevant post-secondary education.
- 2+ years of experience in a maintenance planning role.
- Experience in the food, beverage, or packaged goods industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Oracle systems is an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
