Education
Graduate of a recognized Health Care Aide, Resident Care Attendant, Community Health Worker, or equivalent program.

Current Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.

Additional training related to community care, mental health, dementia care, behavioural support, or rehabilitation is considered an asset.
Experience & Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of recent experience as a Health Care Aide.

Demonstrated experience providing client-centred care and support.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and professional accountability.

Experience supporting adults with varying physical, cognitive, or complex care needs is considered an asset.

Strong observation and reporting skills.

Ability to adapt to changing situations while maintaining a calm and professional approach.

Experience working in home care, community care, assisted living, or related healthcare settings is preferred.
