Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Caseworker to support clients through complex immigration processes and legal procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, research, and communication skills to manage case files efficiently and ensure accurate documentation. This role involves coordinating with legal teams, conducting detailed research, and maintaining meticulous records to facilitate successful case outcomes. The Immigration Caseworker will play a vital role in providing exceptional client service while adhering to legal standards and organizational policies.
Responsibilities
We are looking for who can prepare PR files and refugee file individually
- Manage and track immigration cases using case management systems such as iManage and LexisNexis.
- Conduct comprehensive research on immigration laws, policies, and case precedents to support legal strategies.
- Draft legal documents, affidavits, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case information, deadlines, and client details.
- Assist clients through interviews, providing guidance on required documentation and procedural steps.
- Proofread all legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Organize and file case materials systematically, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality.
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone etiquette, providing updates and answering inquiries effectively.
- Coordinate with legal teams to ensure timely submission of applications and responses to government agencies.
- Support project management tasks related to case deadlines, appointments, and follow-up activities.
Experience
- Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with legal drafting, research methods, and document management systems such as iManage.
- Experience in interviewing clients or stakeholders in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of LexisNexis or similar legal research tools is preferred.
- Prior clerical experience involving data entry, filing, and phone etiquette is advantageous.
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
