Resident Manager – North End Halifax
Location: South End Halifax, NS
Start Date: September 1, 2026 or October 1,2026
Position: Full-Time, Resident Manager
Compensation & Benefits

- Bachelor Apartment or 1 Bedroom Apartment, approximately 500-1,000 sq. ft. on-site residence, valued at $1,550 to $1,950 per month

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and personable Resident Manager for a prominent, well-maintained five-year-old residential building in Halifax’s North End.
The Resident Manager will be the primary on-site contact for residents and will work closely with the property management team to ensure the building is clean, safe, well maintained, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and respond promptly and professionally to concerns
- Conduct regular inspections and monitor the overall condition of the building
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and service providers
- Handle minor maintenance and repairs where appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of common areas
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and suite inspections
- Monitor building systems and report maintenance or safety issues
- Respond to building emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation
- Help ensure building rules and policies are followed
- Maintain a positive, respectful relationship with residents
- Communicate regularly with the property management team
- Perform other reasonable duties related to the operation of the property
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3 Years experience in residential property management.
- Handyman and Painting Skills are an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, approachable, and service-oriented
- Organized and able to work independently
- Comfortable handling minor maintenance and coordinating trades
- Reliable and responsive when issues arise
- Basic computer and administrative skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
