Job Description:
- Manages telephone, fax and email inquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Enter reservations received from all sources.
- Enter all group reservations in a timely manner and handles all subsequent changes.
- Create all group and airline crew blocks and airline crew manifests.
- Responsible for creating and adjusting Group files for all groups and third party accounts with accurate billing and special notes.
- Prepare various reports as and when required.
- Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue.
- Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, and contribute to a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts.
- Assist other departments, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong organizational and administration skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Commitment to delivering high level customer service
- High level of IT skills
- Knowledge of OPERA an asset
