Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients
- Support the serving team by ensuring timely delivery of orders and quality control
- Follow all safety procedures related to cooking, food handling, and sanitation practices
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Basic understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles
