Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Hardscape & Softscape Installer to join our team. As a Hardscape/Softscape Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of various hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living areas.
Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life. The Installer will be responsible for performing various tasks in accordance with project specifications. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
As a Hardscape Installer, you will also be expected to stay on year around to operate various types of snow removal equipment.
Duties:
- Collaborate with supervision and owners to execute hardscape installations according to project specifications.
- Prepare job sites by evaluating the terrain, clearing debris, excavating to specified depths and ensuring proper drainage.
- Install various hardscape elements including pavers, natural stone, brick, and concrete.
- Install plants, lighting and other softscape products
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools necessary for hardscape installation, such as tractors, excavators, compactors, saws, and levels.
- Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the installation process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project deadlines and expectations are met.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a hardscape installer.
- Strong knowledge of hardscape materials, techniques, and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Proficiency in operating hardscape equipment and tools with the ability to measure, cut and assemble materials as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and craftsmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability and willingness to take direction.
- Valid G driver's license (or higher) and reliable transportation.
